Alex did a good job again and I appreciate his patience with my questions. He gave me guidance for how to avoid the problem of water collecting in the secondary pan in the future. I have to say that I'm not very impressed with the quality of the system - the kill switch on the secondary pan shouldn't cause the thermostat to go blank. Whoever designed the system, I know that isn't QLS but it is the system you install, should have been able to have the thermostat indicate that the kill switch for the upper pan has been activated. That would give me an indication of what I need to do the resolve the issue myself.
Our Carrier AC was shutting off with a frequent sensor error. We had another HVAC company take a look and they suggested a full replacement, or at the least replacing some expensive parts. We reached out to QLS for another opinion, and they came out quickly. Their service tech diagnosed a shorted wire, rewired the thermostat same day, serviced our HVAC system, and charged a fair price. So far everything is working great. Impressed with QLS, disappointed with the competition.
